I hope all is well. I realized that I have not sent an update in quite some time. All is well in Birmingham. I am staying busy with the children and my various non-profit activities. I am currently involved with the Birmingham Museum of Art and Junior League. I remain on the junior board of the YWCA of Central Alabama and I currently serve on the board of directors for Camp Smile A Mile. Matt is busy with work and his community involvements, CCA, DU, Birmingham Museum of Art and the United Way. The kids are well. Trey just turned 4 and Sam is 2. They have had a great summer and are looking forward to all that the fall holds. I hope everyone is doing well.

Hi everyone! I just wanted to share some of Landon Shea's 1 year pictures with everyone, as well as his first trip to the zoo. He turned a year old on April 7th, which is so hard to believe as time has just flown by. He has been such a joy and blessing to me, Shannon, and our whole family. He is such a good baby 99% of the time, and it is now hard to remember life without him. He is constantly changing and doing new things, and moves so quickly now, we are chasing him 24/7!

It is so good to see all the updated pictures and see how everyone is doing. I can’t believe all the babies. Tyler is 2 ½ now! It is so hard to believe that he is that old. It has just flown by. He keeps us very busy as he is such an active little boy. He wants to be outside all the time so these winter months have been tough. I hope everyone is doing great! After a long, difficult pregancy Timothy Andrew Franklin Jr. (Tee) is here! He arrived August 30, 2007 at 8:26 am via C-section. Everything went great!

He was 8 lbs 11 oz and 20 inches long. It's hard to believe all that's happened since we left the Universtiy. So many babies!!!!

Hard to believe, but Landon is turning 6 months on October 7th. He is now sitting up on his own, and reaching for everything in his path, including the cat! (She liked him better before he could pull hair!) Speaking of hair, he had to go for his first haircut when he turned 5 months, and still has a ton of hair left! My hairdresser said he is her youngest client yet!

He has been such a fun, wonderful baby, and rarely has a bad day. I am sure this is soon to change since he is starting to teethe, but we are enjoying every minute we spend with him. No first words yet, but he "talks" constantly in baby babble, so I am sure it is only a matter of time. I am working on ROLL TIDE to be his first words, but to be fair to his daddy, we have to try GO DAWGS also!Hope things are going well with everyone. Just wanted to share some pictures of Gray- I can hardly believe that he is 19 months old! The time definitely has flown by too quickly! Last month, we headed to Florida for Jason's family reunion. My mom actually was invited also, so Gray got to enjoy 7 days with all of his grandparents! While we were back East, we also (finally) got to meet my sister's new baby girl, Porter McKinley Wood. She is super precious and makes me (almost) want to add a little girl to our house.

Here are some pictures from Rush. My sister went through this year and pledged theta. She will be initiated in October. It's weird to think that she will be initiated 10 years after I was!

I also wanted to mention that Ms. Barbara has decided to retire at the end of the school year, May 2008. I have decided to put together a retirement party for her. I am working with Erin Green to get all of the alum addresses. The party will take place in the spring and will be family friendly. Hunter is 3 and 1/2 months now and weighs 13.6 lbs! He is rolling over all the time and holding his head up like a champ. He laughs a lot too and it is so cute! I cannot believe how big he has gotten. When I feed him he touched my face a lot and is a super happy baby. He really only cries when he is hungry and on the weekends he sleeps until about 8:45! I love it and I love being a mother, it really is the best thing in the world!!!!

Jeremy and I got married on October 21, 2006, in Savannah, Ga, and then proceeded on a somewhat*surprise* honeymoon to Maui, Hawaii. Everything was beautiful and more than I expected. Since then, I have started a new job with the Florida Senate Judiciary Committee, bought a new car, and we currently have a contract on our house and are now looking for something with more room. We just wanted to share some new pictures of Landon with everyone. He is now 11 weeks old, and has given us more joy and happiness than I could ever have imagined. He has already changed so much since he was born, and is the most active little boy imaginable! Just wanted to let everyone know that yet again I'm moving. My company was sold a few months ago, and due to the job uncertainty I decided to take a market research position with Disney. Here are some photos of Trey and Sam. Matt and I took Trey to Disney World two weeks ago. Sam stayed behind with my family. Shannon and I just wanted to take a moment to share the new love of our life with everyone!!! Landon was born Saturday, April 7th at 11:57 a.m. He weighed 7 lbs, 10 oz, and was 20.5 in. long. It was a long 19 hours of labor to get him to us, but every time I look at him, I know it was SO worth it. Dad and I are sleep deprived, but happy that we have a beautiful, healthy little boy at last! I am including a couple of pictures of him. Here are some recent pictures of Jack. We can not believe how much he has grown. He is definitely a wiggle worm. We can no longer put him in one place and expect him to be there when we return to the room. He sits up and rolls all over the place. I'm sure crawling is on its way.

Jack has already been to 3 Mardi Gras parades. He loves all of the sounds and bright colors. He is just amazed by all of the excitement.

I have really enjoyed getting updates about everyone; it seems like everyone is deserving of Congratulations for one reason or another! I didn't want to be left out, so here's my big news:

I got married on December 30th, 2006 to Joseph McBrayer from Carrollton, GA. I met Joseph while living in Auburn two years after graduation. He graduated with a degree in Forestry from Auburn, but I am teaching him to say "Roll Tide" more often! We now live in Atlanta, GA. I am the Manager of Refugee Resettlement Programs at Catholic Charities, and Joseph is attending seminary at Emory University's Candler School of Theology. We really like being in Atlanta and are getting back into the swing of things after the wedding. We got married at my home church in Montgomery, AL, and Megan Harrison, Emily Bishop Key, Tara Brown, and Holly Morris were among my bridesmaids. Joseph and I think it was a perfect day, and we have attached just a few pictures for you all to see. We also would love to see any of you in person if you are in Atlanta any time soon.

I hope that everyone had a wonderful holidays. Sorry that our holiday pictures are a little late but Seth got to come home for a 2 week leave on the 4th and we took him back to the airport on the 20th. I really think that it was harder this time than it was when he left the first time. We should be getting him back for good in June unless they extend him. Please keep him and all the soldiers over there in your prayers for a safe return, thank you! While he was home we got to come to T-Town, he hadn't seen the new stadium, we got a really great picture while we were there. I enclosed some pictures of Nathan's first Christmas and Seth's trip home.

Christmas was very eventful for the Pope, as usual! We rode The Polar Express, rode in the local Christmas Parade with Piper's Dance School, and (of course) went to visit Santa! Attached are some pictures! I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and New Year! 2007 is off to a great start!

Since I have recently been better at taking pictures I wanted to send a couple of Lauren in her Halloween costume. She had a great Halloween, and was especially charming when we went trick or treating - enough to get lots of extra candy.

We are doing well here. I know that before I mentioned we were expecting #2 but I don't know if I shared that we are having another girl! I am 32 weeks on Friday, it definitely flies by faster the 2nd time around because you don't have time to think about it. Other than that, we are just gearing up for the holidays and Lauren's
3rd birthday is less than a month away! We're enjoying fabulous weather in Jax!

Hello ladies!

Brian and I are getting married! He proposed on Saturday, Oct. 28 on the back porch of the Theta house. He said he wanted to do it in a place that was special and somewhere where my parents could visualize it, so he picked Theta. My mom was proud! We haven't set a date yet but we are thinking a small Spring wedding in New Orleans.

We are still living in Birmingham with Ozzie (our Boston Terrier) and Miss Kitty. We will be in Tuscaloosa for this weekends game against Mississippi State and for the Auburn game. If anyone will be in Tuscaloosa, let me know!!

I have also recently changed jobs. I am now working as the Director of Eduaction Outreach and Touring for the Birmingham Children's Theatre. BCT is one of the oldest children's theatres in the counrty, so it is a fun place to be. I am still teaching at Birmingham Ballet in the evenings; I have a very busy schedule. Brian is still very busy at Limbaugh Toyota and enjoying it.

Hey There Ladies!!!

It's great to see that everyone is doing so well. Lots of cute kids. Congrats to all of you! Just thought I would catch everyone up on my crazy life.... As I am sure all of you know, Taylor Hicks won American Idol and it has been a whirlwind these past six months for Brian and the band, and for myself as well. The band went on tour around the country to the cities that the Idol tour was stopping and Taylor came and played with the guys after the Idol shows. It has been a lot of fun and we have met a lot of people. Elliott, Chris, Bucky, and Ace also came to the shows and sang with the band. It has been surreal at times. They played The Viper Room in LA and Antone's in Austin, just to name a couple of the awesome venues that they performed at. They just did a huge show in Richmond with Elliott Yamin for his homecoming concert which went great! Brian and I just celebrated our 4-year anniversary yesterday, but no plans for little ones right now, although looking at all of your kids makes me think about it a little more. I had been working with the company that sponsored the band through Maui Jim sunglasses, but now I have started my own advertising and marketing business. Basically I am freelancing for small companies, bands, and specialty organizations. It works out much better since I can work from my laptop and travel whenever I want to. Thank goodness for technology! We are still living in Birmingham for the time being with our dogs Elton John, a Bichon Frise, and Etta James, a Pit Bull. We will probably have to move in the near future to a city with a bigger airport, possibly even LA. Not sure how I feel about that yet. Anyway, the band will be playing at Little Willie's (next to Wilhagan's) in downtown T-Town on November 3rd (Mississippi State game) and November 17th (Auburn game) and I would love to see you ladies. If you are in town, please stop in for a drink. You can check out the band's website, which is still under construction, at TheLittleMemphisBluesOrchestra.com or on MySpace under Little Memphis Blues Orchestra. That's the name of the band now. Little Memphis is Brian's nickname, appropriate since he is a short guy from Memphis. I have written a couple of songs for the band and one of them, "Found" is coming out on their new album that will be released in the next few weeks. I have several more songs that I am shopping to various artists, which I am so excited about. I really like the idea of being a song writer, its lots of fun. LMBO also has a new DVD coming out from their show at WorkPlay here in Birmingham the night before the Idol show. So, that's the jist of it. I hope to see you all soon and wish you all happy days! Well, I guess I am a little late on sending in an update since Ashley beat me to it, (that is what I get for slacking off I guess!!), but Shannon and I are expecting our first baby! I am almost 15 weeks, and due April 9th. So far things have been smooth for the most part and going well, so fingers crossed this luck will continue! We should find out right before Thanksgiving if we are having a boy or a girl. At this point, as long as we have a healthy baby, neither of us cares one way or the other. All of the little "experiments" and calendars that you can do so far have been boy though, so we shall see! Hope things are going well with you! From what I can tell from all the other updates, everyone else is doing great! More updates to follow I guess!

Hi, Kelli!

Guess I have been remiss in providing blog info! Well, everyone looks fantastic! So, I guess it’s my turn to catch everyone up. I got married right after college, moved to Tampa and started a career in political media relations. Two years later, I had my little girl, Mary-Elizabeth Kimbrell Rogers. We call her Mary-Liz. She’s three years old and totally fab- pics attached. Then, I got divorced. Don’t feel sorry for me- it was the second happiest day of my life. (And, I make divorce look good). At any rate, since then, I’ve been working for a mainstream advertising and PR agency because I couldn’t travel anymore as a single mom with an infant. I run the gamut of industries and national brands in as far as who I support from a PR stand point. It’s really fun and something new everyday- perfect for someone with wicked ADD. But the best part is it allows me the flexibility to hang out with Mary-Liz and spend quality time with her. That brings us to the present!

I recently celebrated my 31st birthday- that’s right- my 31st – eek! But I still feel like I’m 24. The inhabitants of South Tampa have a penchant for throwing costume parties. Therefore, no one has a normal birthday. So this year, mine was superhero themed and it was ridiculously fun. Pics attached.

I hope all is well with everyone. I will do a better job of touching base from here on out.

Hey Kelli, I'm just now got to look at the blog, it's wonderful. I think it is great to be able to see what our friends are up to these days! Just thought that I would send you some pics and an update from my family. You can change the way this is written for the post is you want.

Seth and I got married in August 2004 in Asheville, NC. Seth joined the Army right out of college and that gave us our first move. We moved from t-town to Lawton, OK for his officer training. We stayed there for 6 months then moved to Lacey, WA. I worked with Enterprise Rent-A-Car as a Management Assistant until January just before our son was born. Nathan was born February 21, 2006. He is now almost 8 months old. Seth has been deployed to Iraq since the end of June. He is doing well, and gets to come home for two weeks in January. Nathan, Jax(our dog) and I moved back to NC to live with my parents while Seth is away. In May we will be moving back to Washington, to get our house ready for Seth to get home for good. We are not career Military (last I heard) and should be moving back to Mobile around 2008/9. Seth will have a year and a half left after he returns from his tour of duty. That's when we will move back to Mobile. I'm thinking this might change because Seth might have a job change that might keep him in longer, who knows! I will be coming down to T-Town the 20th of this month, I hope I can get together with some of ya'll while I'm there.

We have good news! Jason and I found out that we are going to be parents. I went today for my first ultrasound and was able to see the baby move around and see and hear the heart beat. It was so exciting and really made everything real! I am due the first week of May, ironically on Jason's birthday! I'll find out in December what we are having.

On other fronts I have been to see Stacey O'Neil a few times and she and baby Jack are great. She is so happy and that baby boy is too cute! I have been in touch with a ton of people. Kristen Bythewood is better than great and Jessica is still doing really well also and loves her job. Kelli, who I obviously speak to every other day is great too and has the coolest job ever. From what I hear everyone is doing really well! It's exciting.

We are in the process of starting a Theta alumni group in Mobile, so if any of you know of anyone here that was a Theta at Bama or other please let them know to contact me! We are also starting to do Young Alumni Happy Hours for the Mobile Alumni Chapter of the U of A. So again, if you know of anyone here, spread the word.

I heard from Tara Steakly Edstrom the other day. She is great as is Chaney. She also said Brandi McGregor is wonderful and is in the Cayman Islands right now as a traveling nurse. She has a great apartment with a water view and everything. Rosie Rosich Groover just moved this way, so we will hopefully be catching up soon!

Here are some action picts of Trey and Sam. Trey has been preoccupied with the grill that he received for his birthday. He really thinks he is cooking. Often when I ask him what he wants to eat he responds with, "meat" and runs to his grill to begin the grilling process!

Sam is now 4 months old and huge. He currently weighs 17 pounds and is on the 90th percentile for weight(shocker!) and the 75th percentile for height. He is quite a big boy. As you can see he wore himself out in his exersaucer.

They came home from the hospital on Friday and mother and child are doing great! I was able to get over there yesterday to see the baby and Stacey. She is wonderful. Hey everyone! Just a little update!

I was in Tuscaloosa for rush this year. I had an AB meeting, so I decided to go for the whole weekend. I got there for 6 party then left yesterday. I cannot even begin to tell you how great those girls are. They are all SO CUTE, sweet, funny, and united. I mean, they really present a united front whereas I feel like we were more segregated. I'm not sure if everyone knows, but they won pomp last year and have placed in the dance like every year as of lately. Between IWT and 10 party there was a 91% return rate!!!!! They had about the same for 6 party and were able to get the girls THEY wanted on serious night. Bid day was wonderful. Eventhough I had to drive back to Mobile and was not able to stay for the whole day I still got a call to tell me how great they did. The girls got their bids at 5 PM yesterday. They got a WONDERFUL pledge class with lots of GREAT legacies and honestly, the ENTIRE pledge class was VERY CUTE. And here is the kicker. We made the max for quota. Now they have quota ranges. This year it was 66-79 and we pledged 79 girls!!!!!!!! 79 new members!!!!!! Can you imagine! To sum it up.......WE KICKED ASS. So.........if you can get back to the house for a game, try. The house looks great. The upstairs bathrooms look like something at the Ritz now and the house is doing SO WELL!!!!!!!

Lisa Johnston, Carrie Patterson, Whitney Pasch & Shannon Turner were there to share in our special day. I also attached a photo of us on our honeymoon in Greece. We had such a wonderful trip. Since the wedding things have not really slowed down much. We went to Birmingham for a wedding in July; I think it was actually hotter in Birmingham than Orlando. This month we are headed to Boston for another wedding and in October we are going to Savannah to visit Lisa Johnston! I guess it’s best to do all this traveling now before we start having children! Shannon and I just recently returned from a trip to NYC for our 5 year anniversary, so I have included a couple of pics from that. This was the first trip I have made to NY since 9/11, and it was quite a change from the last time I was there. The people, and even some of the atmosphere of the city have changed since I was there in '98. The hardest and most moving thing that we did while we were there was to visit Ground Zero. To see so many people standing silent and unmoving in a city where everything is so noisy and goes by so quickly is heartbreaking. Even with all of the choas and construction that was taking place around it, people still stood in awe of what was once such a great and beautiful site. The memorials that surrounded the site were very touching as well.

I hope that this update finds you, and everyone else doing great! Thanks again for creating this site for everyone, it is a great way to catch up!

Hello everyone!

We are sadly counting down the days until we move...only 14! We cannot believe how quickly the time has flown; it feels like yesterday that we made this decision. We are very sad to leave Nashville and the comforts we have here. We are leaving an incredible lifestyle and giving up so much of what WE had planned; however, we know we're doing the right thing! We will miss you ALL very much; we have formed some remarkable friendships and we hope you all remain in our lives for a long time! We take comfort in the fact that Louisville felt like "home" from the very moment we stepped onto the seminary campus. Life is about change and handling the unexpected. For those of you who have known us for any extended period of time, you will know that we are very much planners! We don't like surprises; well, this move was totally unexpected and NOWHERE in our minds did we have this planned; however, God had this plan all along and we look forward with anticipation at what He is going to do next! We are nervously excited about our future (does that make sense?)! With all of that said, we wanted to go ahead and give you all our new address and phone number. We know it's a little early, but this house is about to become organized chaos and we had a feeling that we would lose it somewhere in the move. Now it's your job to keep up with it:) We don't have our new e-mail address yet, but when we get up there and get it, we will send it to you. Since we'll both be in school, the e-mails will be assigned to us from the colleges. Our current

I've enjoyed reading the blog and catching up on everyone. I moved to Charlotte, NC two years ago to take a position with Compass Group, the largest foodservice company in the world. I'm the Regional Marketing Manager for the Chartwells Higher Ed division... food courts and dining halls on college campuses. I spend about 90% of my time traveling the southeast region - Florida, Tennessee, Georgia and the Carolinas. I love my job, which is great because I work a lot. I still have Special Kitty and Ally Cat from college and they're doing wonderful. They miss me during the week. I bought a town home last summer. It's a two-story, two bedroom pad that I've enjoyed decorating during my spare time. My dad survived hurricane Ivan and bought a home further inland in Gulf Shores. Hi everyone!

Ryan and I got married two weeks ago at Couples Swept Away in Negril, Jamaica. It was wonderful. I highly recommend destination weddings for you ladies who have not tied the knot yet! Our families and a few friends went with us for the celebration. It was so much fun for everyone who came, and no stress! Amy Porter flew all the way from Chicago to be my only bridesmaid and maid of honor. We had such a great time. The picture of Ryan and I is one of my favorites. The picture of me and Amy is the morning of my wedding day, on the beach, drinks in hand!

We will be in Birmingham until the end of the summer and then Ryan and I will move to Houston. He has accepted a position at Kerr McGee Oil and Gas Corporation and should (cross your fingers!) finish his master's in August. We are both so excited!

Hello there.

Joe and I found out a couple of weeks ago that we are expecting baby #2. We are so excited, Lauren turns 3 in early December and the baby will probably be born later that month. My due date is Jan 4 but I would expect to be induced early again because of blood pressure issues.

I hope everyone is doing well, I've attached some pictures of Lauren riding a horse at our neighbor's birthday party. She loves animals!

Attached is a picture Trey (21 mo.) and his little
brother, Sam (born April 21). Sam came home Saturday,
May 6 after spending 15 days in the NICU. We were
relieved to have him home and to have the whole family
under one roof!

Shane and I are saying goodbye to Virginia Beach, VA and are headed back south to Pensacola, FL. He has been given orders to become a flight instructor at NAS Pensacola. Johnson and Johnson gave me a transfer so now I'm leaving the private practice setting to sell an antibiotic in the hospitals from Pensacola to Fort Walton Beach. Not a bad terriotry huh? We won't officially be settled there until late summer. I am going in the next 3 weeks and will stay there with my sister until we get a house. Shane was selected to play baseball for the military all star league so he will be traveling all over the country this summer. He was a pitcher for the Naval Academy so it's fun to see he still has "it". One day we'll grow up and settle down, but obviously it's just not time yet. It will be nice to be closer to home and hopefully we can catch a few ball games this fall. Hope all of you are well. Attached a few pics:

Dear Friends,

We have some awesome news! WE'RE MOVING! Patrick has been accepted to Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY. His last day at our church here in Nashville is July 30. We are hoping to move August 1st. This move is not a decision we made at the last minute, although it has taken some of you by surprise I am sure. We have been fervently praying about it for quite some time and we both feel that this is where the Lord is calling us. We have visited the campus and it felt like "home" the minute we pulled up. Everyone there was so welcoming and helpful and really on fire for the Lord! Patrick's particular program should take about 2 1/2-3 years to complete. He has entered the Billy Graham School of Missions, Evangelism, and Church Growth. Patrick feels like he's called to be a "pulpit pastor" as he calls them, but he hasn't ruled out the mission field either. I am actually in the process of applying to graduate school myself at the University of Louisville; would love to get my master's in Early Childhood Education! A pastor's wife who teaches...what else is new?

We will keep everyone updated and we are sooooooooooo excited!
Louisville is a cool city and reminds us a lot of Nash-vegas! We look
forward to this next chapter in our lives!

Sam Stiles made his grand entrance on April 21, at
7:52 am. He weighed 7 lbs. 9 oz. and was 18 3/4 inches
long. He is currently still in the NICU and will be
there for atleast 8 more days. It's been tough but we
are finally beginning to see an improvement and
hopefully the light at the end of the tunnel. Please
keep him in your prayers. I will send more photos of
the boys together as soon as he gets home!
