I hope all is well. I realized that I have not sent an update in quite some time. All is well in Birmingham. I am staying busy with the children and my various non-profit activities. I am currently involved with the Birmingham Museum of Art and Junior League. I remain on the junior board of the YWCA of Central Alabama and I currently serve on the board of directors for Camp Smile A Mile. Matt is busy with work and his community involvements, CCA, DU, Birmingham Museum of Art and the United Way. The kids are well. Trey just turned 4 and Sam is 2. They have had a great summer and are looking forward to all that the fall holds. I hope everyone is doing well.

I wanted to send you two of my favorite pictures of Mason. These weretaken when he was 9 months old. He will be 1 year old on August 8th. This is unbelievable to me! I had no idea how fast life would go by once I had a baby. He started walking a few weeks ago, and my life has not been the same since!

Hi everyone! I just wanted to share some of Landon Shea's 1 year pictures with everyone, as well as his first trip to the zoo. He turned a year old on April 7th, which is so hard to believe as time has just flown by. He has been such a joy and blessing to me, Shannon, and our whole family. He is such a good baby 99% of the time, and it is now hard to remember life without him. He is constantly changing and doing new things, and moves so quickly now, we are chasing him 24/7!

I hope everyone is doing well. Keep the pictures coming, as I love to see everyone's kids, spouses, etc. and hear what is going on with all of you.

Ms. Barbara's Retirement!

Dear Theta Alumnae,

I hope everyone is doing extremely well! Some of you might have already heard that Ms. Barbara is retiring after 10 long years! If you did not know yet the news is sad and shocking. We will be having a banquet after chapter on April 23rd at 7 o'clock in her honor for everything she has done for us over the years. If some of you would like to attend that would be great! If you would like to send a letter to Ms. Barbara that would also be wonderful. It is so good to see all the updated pictures and see how everyone is doing. I can’t believe all the babies. Tyler is 2 ½ now! It is so hard to believe that he is that old. It has just flown by. He keeps us very busy as he is such an active little boy. He wants to be outside all the time so these winter months have been tough. We have now moved back into Huntsville from Athens and are trying to sell our house. I am glad to see that everyone is doing so well! I hope you all had a great holiday season.

Hey everyone! I hope you are having a GREAT year so far. We are having so much fun with Chaney and Harper. I never knew having kids and being a stay at home mom could be so rewarding!!!!! I have attached recent pictures of the girls (my husband Tony took them). Hope you enjoy.

Also, for those of you who know my brother Ryan Steakley, he and his wife Jessica are expecting twins :) They are 7 weeks pregnant and due sometime in September. Please pray that things go well for them.

We can hardly believe it, but Gray turned 2 on January 25th. He now understands the whole birthday thing and really enjoyed his day. We threw an Elmo party and had about 11 toddlers running around the house- it was crazy, but lots of fun!

Mardi Gras 2008 was great fun, but I am so happy it is over. We went to several balls in Mobile and I was fortunate enough to meet a few younger Thetas - Lindsay Guthrie, Celie Gwatkin and Sara Jane Hughey.

Hi girls!

I got married on September 8th to Sam Hodge. The wedding was such a great day and I loved everyminute of it. We moved into our house in Decatur, GA (outside of Atlanta) in October. After the move and the holidays, I finally feel like we are getting settled and beginning our married life. I had several Thetas as bridesmaids: Kristen Bythewood Huetcher,Elizabeth Ridenhour, Erin Chisholm, Stacey JonesO'Neil, and Dana Anders Terry. It was such a great weekend.
